SyChip Debuts Mobile WiMAX CSM

SyChip, a supplier of radio frequency CSM (Chip Scale Modules), announced on August 2, 2007 that it has launched its first mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e-2005) CSM. The WiMAX9xxx module facilitates the addition of WiMAX functions to the design of various handheld devices, including mobile phones and ultra mobile personal computers. Samples are expected to be available in August 2007, with mass production to start in the second quarter of 2008.
